As a strong proponent of the cannabis community from early on, we strongly advocate for more public acceptance of cannabis use. The British Columbia Provincial Government would like to know your thoughts on where we should be allowed to consume cannabis.
This public consultation is the first step to allow cannabis to be legally consumed in lounges, spas, concerts, sporting events, etc. This includes edibles, drinks, and tinctures, with the possibility of outdoor smoking or vaping. It rules out smoking or vaping indoors. This is huge for public acceptance of recreational cannabis consumption treating it more in line with alcohol. Allowing this would increase public acceptance which in turn should increase the market for cannabis extracts.
We encourage everyone to take the chance to participate and let the BC government know your opinion on this. The survey runs from April 6 to May 8, 2022.
